With the rise of Airbnb, travelers are able to experience adventure in an entirely new way. Whether it learning about local hot spots from hosts, seeing a less touristy side of a city, or simply staying and playing in solitude, unique Airbnbs can take a travel experience to the next level. It's no surprise that the U.S. is chock full of fantastic (and shockingly affordable) accommodations, it's just about finding the right stay for your travel style.

Sure, travel planning takes work but finding the best Airbnb can blow your trip out of the water. These stellar listings have been vetted based on affordability, guest ratings, and styyyyyyle. While I've yet to have the opportunity to experience these unique Airbnbs, I would never recommend a place that I wouldn’t stay myself. Located just outside of the Chicago city limits, this mobile RV is the most epic accommodation for the quirky traveler. While it looks like listing dates are currently blocked off, I couldn't write an article about the best Airbnbs in America without including this list. Allegedly the amenities include a mini-fridge stocked with Oscar Mayer hot dogs and essentials for the perfect Chicago-style hot dog. Marketing stunt or not, I'm sold.

The listing in upfront in stating that those looking for a convenient, plugged in accommodation might be happier staying somewhere more traditional. Glamping guests will have access to an indoor bathroom from 8am-8pm and past that have a date with the outdoors.
